This is what the yard looked like when grandpa and family first moved into the farm house. Notice all the trees in the yard.

 

The family not long after they moved into the farm house. This was the family when grandpa was the branch president of the Minneapolis Branch with 700 members. Grandpa was about 32 years old here.
