Christmas Day finally arrived.
We shared the excitement of Christmas morning with Steve and Jana's family. New Arcade Hoops game got a lot of use throughout the day.
Father - Son competition was alive and well.
Lisa got a new phone and lots of beautiful new clothes.
Ryan loves things that fly. Remember he was the pilot for Halloween. Do we see a pattern here? His new remote control helicopter was a big hit. Ryan read all the instructions to make sure he knew all about his new flying machine.
Ryan got it up and flying in no time. There it is suspended in mid-air.
McKay got a construction set and went right to work building a lookout tower with his Dad.
They measured and planned every step together.
Once the plan was made and McKay understood, he got to make the cut.
Cut after cut and nail after nail...

It finally all came together, a lookout tower with a flag! Great work men!
Tyler and Lisa took advantage of the new Beatles X-Box video. They were really good and it was fun to hear the old Beatles songs played again by my grandkids.
Tyler and McKay... rock on guys!
After a morning with the kids we went home to open gifts and call Matt and Tim's families (Brett called and Skyped with us before we left this morning). Thanks for the thoughtful gifts Tim, Marnie, Brett and Heather and Matt and Ellen and kids.
Thanks again. I'll be using this gift card soon I hope.
We went back to Steve and Jana's for the rest of the day. Rob stopped by Steve and Jana's house for a visit. The kids loved time to challenge a big guy to a game of Hoops.
McKay has boundless energy and an unconquerable spirit.
Thanks for the gifts and sharing your time with us Rob.
Bryson liked his new transformer truck and his new remote control car.
Brady got a lot of great toys, but the best ones to play with are the big brothers' things.

Steve played a new game with the younger boys and Jana worked on a puzzel with Tyler and Lisa.
Beautiful Christmas trees were lit up in the entry and family room. It was a beautiful day with family. We loved the time together, phone calls, the thoughtful gifts, the meals and the priceless memories. It was a special gift to have a request from Lisa for a priesthood blessing. She sprained her ankle and was in a boot last week. She is in a small sandal wrap now and healing quickly. It was very inspiring to hear her share her testimony of her faith in the Savior and the power of the priesthood. We heard prayers from Tyler and several of the other children yesterday and today. There cannot be a more precious gift than to see faith in the rising generation that our families we will be together forever.
It was a very Merry Christmas!
