James and Scott were selected to participate in the Children's Christmas Chorus to sing with the Village Voices, the community adult choir. The boys were very honored and took their assignment very seriously. They had a great experience with good leaders and some fun songs. Mom and I went with them to their "Dress Rehearsal" Friday night before their performance on Sunday evening. The boys completed their singing Sunday evening and came directly over to the chapel for the First Presidency Christmas Devotional.
James and Scott were focused on the conductor and sang from their hearts.
You can see the adult Village Voices chorus behind the children.
The practice was well worth the time for parents to attend. It helped me understand all of the coordination of voices, instruments, electronic equipment, sounds and quiet... in addition to all of the work on the music. The kids listened carefully and responded with exactness.
