Happy New Year!

NEW YEAR'S EVE

New Year's Eve began with great food! We started with delicious coconut shrimp, fried wantons, bacon wrapped smokey links, and all the perfect sauces to complement them. Then we added chips and salsa, tomatoes, pickles/relishes, strawberries and blackberries. Desserts included caramel corn, kettle corn, cookies and candies. We had our choice of chocolate milk, root beer or lemon-lime for drink.

Lisa and Ty made a quick quality check. Yep! It's good! It's got to be just right to get the new year off on the right track. This year Lisa will turn 16 and start to date and get her driver's license! Ty is 18 and a senior in high school, so he will be leaving on a mission before the new year is over.

McKay and Bryson were close-by playing with their new toys. They were maxing-out the moment with fun toys and great food. Bryson will turn 8 and be baptized next May.

Lots of fun and excitement filled the air... It's New Year's Eve!! Brady and Grandma are in the spirit of the evening.

No time for videos Grandma... It's party time!!

After we ate our fill of the delicious foods we went downstairs to start the games.

NEW YEAR'S DAY

The snow came on Christmas Eve and we kept getting a couple of inches of light snow every morning through New Year's Day. Most of the time the snow melts off the road by mid-morning, but it got into the single digits and below zero temps that kept it all day today.

It's nice to look out the window to see the beauty of the snow without going outside and getting cold.
