The Last Days of 2012

Steve, Jana, Matt and Ellen joined us for dinner Saturday evening the 29th. We had a great meal and enjoyed talking and games after the meal.

 Grandpa and Kaylee

Todd and Brady do what 3 year-old cousins do with olives... wear them to eat them.

Todd got one first... then restocked.

Brady weakened and got his next.

We had a good time together that night. The next day was Sunday the 30th. Matt and Ellen and family went to church with us and then came home to change clothes, feed the family and finish packing the food and toys for the road.

While mom and dad were packing Grandpa was entertaining the boys with a picture review of the last few days together.

Todd knew instantly what to do with this big fish. He knew the jungle beat that was perfect for the occasion.

Matt said the van was packed, so boys were loaded in and buckled or strapped down and they were ready to start the journey home.

Good-bye!! We love you!!
The first day they traveled to Boise and stayed overnight. The next day they completed their trip home. Prayers were answered with good roads and safe travel. We will miss you, but we will cherish our memories... and we know where you live. See you again soon.
