Tyler's Final Days Before the MTC

SUNDAY
Sunday Tyler gave his farewell talk and spoke on the Priesthood and Priesthood keys. He gave a powerful talk with personal experiences, doctrine, and scriptures to establish his points. There were about 40 or more family members from the Lindsay and Bacon families at that meeting and then we joined together for a lunch at Steve and Jana's home.

Lots of great food and desserts for everyone several times over.

 Tyler and his little sister.

The two smallest cousins - Kaylee/Tyler and Mom/Ben (Matt and Ellen's youngest).
Both about one year-old.

Grandma's french toast for the cousins.

A little quiet sharing time.

TUESDAY

Matt, Ellen and the boys left for home in Washington.

So, you're really going to leave us?! O.K, we'll see you next month.

WEDNESDAY  (MTC drop-off day for Tyler)

It's great to have another Elder Lindsay in the mission field! Tyler and his family went to lunch and then took a few minutes to give Tyler a last good-bye before leaving for two years.

Good-byes done and emotions exhausted, they dropped Tyler off at the MTC, where he was escorted into the MTC an Elder. Steve called out to Tyler as he was walking away and he turned around with a big smile on his face and waved... Hurrah!, Hurrah! Hurrah for Zion!

Write soon! We miss you already!
