We received a new couple and traveled to Budapest to train them in the humanitarian work. It was a great experience to meet them and share their excitement for the work.
This is the street the mission office, chapel and mission home are on.
This is the door to the Kingdom in Hungary. The first level is the chapel, the second level is the class rooms, the third level is the mission office and the fourth level is the mission home.
We used a conference room in the mission office for the week to train our new couple.
We visited a partner organization in Budapest that we have worked with several times. They are a great organization and focus on helping the blind.
We talked about the things we learned on our visit and discussed possible projects and some plans for their next visit.
Notes were made and plans recorded. and the training goes on.
The office couple were always busy, but we did make plans for dinner after the work day was done.
We had a great meal outside under the umbrella canopy. Looks like salmon was my choice tonight.
Sister Lindsay started out with a bowl of soup.
We walked around the block after dinner to get an ice cream cone. We spotted two elders walking to their next appointment as we walked and they took a minute to talk with us. Great young men! Their parents should be proud of them.
We found the ice cream store.
