Adventures in Germany
Matt, Ellen, James and Quin arrived 9 minutes early and had a great flight, but jet lag and lack o f sleep slowed them down just a bit. We got them moved into their apartment on the 6th floor of our building. After a little freshening up we gathered for talking, planning and a train ride downtown Frankfurt on the U-Bahn to see the sites of the town.
Down the hall and into the van to grandmothers house we go.
Quin was full of smiles and brought a lot of smiles to our faces.
A quick tour of the apartment and a drink before we take a tour of Frankfurt.
Our honored guests... Grandma has Quin
Birthday gifts hand-delivered with love.
A train ride downtown and now a walk down the Zile, the main downtown outdoor shopping mall.
Matt and James found something good in the backeri.

Day 2
Berg Eltz Castle and Limburg
Arrived, parked and loaded for a 15 minute hike to the Berg Eltz Castle.
The hike took us through the woods. The rain stopped just as we arrived so the only drops we felt were falling from the leaves above us.
Around the last bend the castle is right there in front of you.

Bye to Berg Eltz Castle for now. It was a wonderful day. Now on to Limberg
