CHURCH HISTORY MUSEUM WITH THE KIDS

Mom, Steve, Jana and the kids at the front door of the Church History Museum.

It was spring break for the kids and Steve and Jana had planned a trip to the Church History Museum and were kind enough to invite us to come along. We had a great time and spent most of our visit in the interactive children's section.
McKay and Ryan were polishing up their conference talks with grandma.
Brady enjoyed a nurturing moment as well as Bryson. Lisa delighted in the moment too.
Lisa and grandma enjoy a few minutes in the shade of the Tree of Life.
McKay gets a quilting lesson from the family.
Ryan, Steve and Brady work together to build a temple.

Bryson and McKay show there is nothing to this stained glass window thing.
McKay made his window in Christmas colors.
Bryson did a little stone cutting and made a big star.

Ryan made sure he hit the target with the bean bags.

McKay made it along the Straight and Narrow Path by holding onto the Iron Rod. Despite the challenges of his dad he endured to the end and didn't fall into the River of Filthy Water.

We are a happy eternal family!

It's amazing what you can find at the Church History Museum. Ryan and McKay turn the pages of the gold Plates and were trying to reat the reformed Egyptian inscriptions.

Everyone took their turn trying to lift the plates. No problem for Tyler!

Lisa moved them.

Jana discovered they were heavier than the little kids.

McKay was amazed at how heavy they were.

A few more years and Ryan could be as strong as the Prophet Joseph.

Steve, Lisa and Jana had a great time with the family today.

Time to get lunch and head home to get ready for General Conference tomorrow.

  1. It looks like you got home from the DR just in time to join in all the fun family stuff! When did Tyler get sooo tall?! I still think Lisa looks like her great Aunt Lisa, too!

Our kids got together @ Dana's house for Easter and chowed down on lots of food that they won't be taking to London with them. They leave the first week in May, for possibly three years!
