SPRING HAS SPRUNG

Spring has touched the trees and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom today. The trees are buzzing with happy bees and the signs of new life are revealed again. 

I love the blossoms against the deep blue Utah spring skies.

Something new has been added to the front porch... waterless shrubs! Mom looked around for several weeks and we debated between real and artificial plants and finally decided on these. They look pretty good now, we'll see what they look like at the end of the summer.

I got the new irrigation water supply hooked up and ready to go, so tomorrow is a day of sprinkler adjustments. The pest control guys should be here in a few days to get the wasps under control and then its on to lawn patching, fertilizing, planting flowers and mulching. What a great way to start the new season.
