Easter Weekend 2013

SATURDAY
Tim, Marnie and family came in from Minneapolis yesterday and Steve and Jana are leaving on Monday so this weekend is the only cousin time we will have. We spent a good deal of the weekend together having fun and taking pictures. We were blessed with sunshine through the weekend as you can see in my face.

Kaylee (7 months) and Grandpa (much older)

Football games let the boys work off a little extra energy and give the bigger boys bragging rights.

Everyone got into the game, got bumped around and generally had fun.

A cousin moment after the games. Tyler will be graduating high school this year and leaving on his mission next July.

The cousins had a great time playing after dinner. McKay and Maggie let their imaginations run wild as they drew some crazy creations.

Brady and some of the other boys created their Lego dream-vehicles.

They had a great time together and most importantly, they made some lasting memories.

SUNDAY

Easter morning was a sweet experience for all. Mike and Maggie started on their Peep rainbows.

McKay liked the tribal headgear from the Philippines. Kaylee and Ryan took a minute from their tickle-fest to join McKay for a picture.

Ryan has the touch with Kaylee and can almost always get her to smile.

Jack was enjoying Kaylee's smiles and gave me one of his own for the camera.

Grandma, Jack, and Maggie on Easter morning before we joined Steve's family at church.

Pretty Maggie is growing up.

I don't know what Mike was thinking about, but it made him and all of us smile.

Steve, Kaylee and Jack. Sunday night we gathered for Easter dinner, pork tenderloin and twice baked potatoes, with all the trimmings. Great meal and a great memory for all of us.

  1. I can't remember the last time I saw Tim & Marnie and family. It's nice to at least see current pictures of them. Thanks for this post.
