McKay Plays La Crosse

Today we saw our first game of McKay playing La Crosse. McKay really loves playing the game. I think it reminds him of playing with his brothers, but in this game you can't strike the head or neck without a penalty.

 McKay is in the light blue jersey, number 37. This is the way they start the game. The ball is placed on the ground and a player from each team is in position to get the ball when the referee blows his whistle.

 It was a battle from the ground to the air.

 McKay is in the dark helmet and has the ball in his net. The others are trying to knock it out and get it from him. No way Jose!

 McKay is open...

 He gets a pass and catches it. Then he puts a head-fake on his defense and...

 ...makes a break for the goal, leaving his defense in the dust.

 He still has the ball and is running for the goal while running his way through the opposition.

Down to the goal and he makes a shot! Great shot! It was 4 on 1 and the defense blocked it. They kept up this pace all game long. McKay played great and is a dominant player on his team. Congrats McKay. Good game!
