Salt Lake City Sites

On the way home from Park City we stopped by the outlet mall and then on to Salt Lake City,

We took some time in the Family History Center and took a picture of our family immigrants that day.

They were a happy group... considering their long voyage from Psrk City that day.

We're all up for a good video and the FHC had a few going.

There was also a kids play area. Mike found a great little car.

Maggie took a try in it too.

We went upstairs to the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to look at the temple.

Quite a sight. We had family that worked on that temple!

Forty years in the making.

We went to the Lion House for lunch and then after lunch toured the Beehive House next door.

We passed the Church Office Building on our way through Temple Square to the Church history Museum.

The reflecting pool. No Mike. No swimming allowed.

Jack tried his hand at writing reformed Egyptian.

The kids worked on the garden and did a little harvesting.

Mike was into the water with the fish, while Jack dangled the line.

Maggie built a Nephite castle.

Jack had a little fun with the music machine.

Back across the street...

...through Temple Square, past the temple again

...and by the fragrant flowers on the grounds there.

...into the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and time for a quick picture with Mike, and then down into the parking lot and down the road to our home.
