As we entered the garden we were greeted by this mound of multi-colored tulips.
We were a little overwhelmed by the mass of colors and beautiful landscape before us. A little like walking into heaven I suppose.
Elder and Sister Johnson traveled with us.
Most of the tulip fields were "headed", flowers were cut off so the bulbs would be stronger for sale to customers that will enjoy them next year.

We had an amazing 3 hours in the garden. We got there just after it opened and had parts of the garden to ourselves, but by departure time there must have been 10,000 people or more and acres and acres of cars parked in the fields. If you ever come to Europe in April, you've got to see this garden!
Oh, that looks so beautiful and peaceful!!!...before all the crowds got there, at least.
