MATT & ELLEN VISIT

Matt, Ellen, James, Scott, Todd

Todd was fascinated by the beautiful music he could play on the piano.

Matt got right to work and assembled the Pedal Karts quickly. A Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Wrangler Jr, and a Ferrari.

Ryan and Scott on the Karts. All the neighbor kids showed up in the front yard asking if they could ride the Karts too. Friends stopped by to talk with Matt and Ellen and lots of information was spread around.

James was always willing to let grandpa take his picture, but he would rather be riding a Kart. Great hat!

Scotty went to Costco with us and had to pose by the Muscle Milk display. Great ad for Muscle Milk!

Cousins had time together at meals, on the boat at Deer Creek, riding Karts, and having sleep overs.

Matt and the boys work on their new musical number. I never realized how musical our family is.

James shares another moment and a smile with grandpa.

You can always find Scotty in the kitchen... with a smile most of the time.

Todd found a lot of entertainment time exploring the kitchen drawers.

Ellen put up their inflatable slide and James, Scott and their friends enjoyed a little fun in the sun and cooled off. It was over 100 degrees that day!

James goes down the slide head first.

The garage was the staging area to gather all their things and load them into the trailer for for the big move to home in Leavenworth.

The loading begins with a file cabinet, food storage cans and boxes of stuff.

The stuff keeps coming and finally filled the trailer to the brim.

Matt and family went to church at 9:00 am and came home to change clothes, hook up the trailer and hit the road for Rexberg en route to Boise and then on to home in Washington.

Grandma and grandpa with the boys!

James and one of his warm smiles.

James changed his clothes quickly and found grandma in the kitchen.

The final pieces of luggage and things were loaded in the truck and then they were ready to start their journey home.

The kids were strapped into their seats and ready for blastoff.

One final Matt hug for mom before they could leave.

And then they were on their way. We received a call from Matt five hours later to say they made it to Rexberg safely.

  1. Matt gives wonderful hugs! Almost as good as my Brian hugs!

I can't believe how big Matt & Ellen's boys are. James looks like Marlene, to me, but with Ellen's darker skin. They are all so cute!
