We had a celebration of sorts for the send-off of Dan and Verna. A hot air balloon made an appearance overhead about the time they were backing out of the driveway. (It landed in a nearby field.)
A good-bye smile and they were on their way through the hot desert, up mountains and down mountains traveling the road back to the Pacific coast and the comforts of home and the pool.
Dan's floating in the pool as I'm typing this! His back has had a workout.
