SNOW DAY IN THE VALLEY

We woke up this morning to a blanket of new fallen fluffy white snow! It piled up about 6 inches deep and there was no wind so it just gently drifted down. It looked like feathers. It's melted off the driveway, sidewalks and the roads now, but another bigger storm is on the way tonight. I thought it would be good to have a few pictures of snow that we can pull up next year when we are sweltering in 90 degree, hot humid days, in the Philippines.

There was no snow last night and this morning it is a winter wonderland again!

The deck was covered with snow.

I was tired of being in the house and cleared the driveway and walks with the snow blower. They probably would have melted anyway, but I had a little fun.

Light snow falling and if you listen carefully near the end you can hear the sound of snow crunching under my feet.

A blanket of snow covered the bare tree branches.

That was most of the excitement around here for today. We did get a nice email from the Allreds the recently returned from our mission in the Philippines. They are visiting family and friends in AZ and will be coming back to their new home in Payson, UT in about a week. We'll get together and debrief them on the mission details. Sounds like we'll hire someone do our wash and clean the apartment. Mom is looking forward to that.
