FAMILY OPEN HOUSE

We spoke in Sacrament meeting today. Grandma spoke on the Atonement and I spoke on the Resurrection. We had a wonderful experience and felt the Spirit. It was so fulfilling to hear so many others say they felt the Spirit too and it set the tone for Easter Sunday. Great Grandma Lindsay was there as well as Julia, Annette, Dick, Lisa, Katie, Dan, Nick, Sue, Rob, Dave and his family and Steve's family. It was a very special and memorable Easter Sunday.

It was so comforting to be with family after church and just have a little time to talk... and take a few pictures. I guess if we speak in Sacrament meeting and have an open house we're really going to go. A week from tomorrow we'll be reporting to the MTC and the following Monday we're on the 37 hour trip to Manila. We'll spend grandma's birthday somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. Since we will lose 14 hours that means she will only have a 10 hour birthday... and that doesn't count because it is less than half a day. Riiiiiight.

  1. I wish we could have been there for the family time together! Not really sorry we missed the Mulch Days, though.

Did mom have a chocolate shake for dinner, then she hogged the dessert table?

We know you will be doing great in the Philipines. We will be praying for you and know the Lord will bless you and your family!

Thanks, again, for letting us invade your home during the wedding. We really enjoyed the time with you! BIG HUGS!!!
