ON OUR WAY TO MINNESOTA - DAY 1

We left home at about 8:00 am and headed up I-215 to I-80 and made a quick stretch stop in Evanston, then on to Laramie. We ate on the way and listened to mom's ipod loaded with Tyler's music. It was great! Thanks Tyler! (Yes, we shut the garage door before we left.)

We got into North Platte, Nebraska at 5:20 pm... actually 6:20 pm central time. We checked into our motel and had dinner next door at Appleby's. We're comfortable and ready for a good night's sleep. Tomorrow we'll have a free breakfast at Penny's diner and then we're on our way to Minnesota. Brett, Heather and Parker... see ya tomorrow.

It was a beautiful sunset... just had to share it with you, but pictures never do justice to the beauty of the real thing.
