SUNDANCE THEATER

We went to the Sundance Theater to see, "Big River", the story of Huckleberry Finn with our friends Brad and Dana Smith. We have been having a lot of summer thunder storms with hail and lots of rain and the forecast was for more of the same tonight... but we were ready for the adventure. Brad offered to let me drive his Sebring convertible so we jumped in and with the top down cruised up the canyon. We could feel the temperature cool as we climbed up the mountain. Sundance is behind Mount Timpanogos so we could see two shows at the same time... the stage show and the lightning filled clouds and thunder on the other side of Timp in the valley we left behind. We really enjoyed being with Brad and Dana and the show was good too!

We stopped in the parking lot for a quick picture.

Loaded with blanket, sweatshirt and jackets we're ready for the chilly mountain night air. Mom was also the essential candy bag.

Mom and Dana walk together most mornings. Dana had her tickets and mom thought I couldn't see her if she closed her eyes.

The flowers were all in bloom and I couldn't resist taking at least one picture of them.

We got home about 11:30 cool and dry and could see that the rain had come to the valley while we were away.
