February 28, I was having a lot of pain and was barely able to hobble around. I asked Elder Jones and Jorge Lara, our new dear friend from West Jordon, here for a week to help with the Haiti deliveries and warehouse management to give me a blessing and he blessed me that I would be able to complete my service and walk again. Jorge went out that night and bought me a pair of crutches that I used. That was such a kind gift to do that for me at that hour of the night. He is a great example of a man that uses his priesthood.
March 3, I had an appointment to see the doctor for severe pain in my left knee. They took x-rays and did some physical testing and he gave me a prescription for a strong anti-inflammatory. It made an immediate difference and I was able to get around on crutches for a week to give my knee time to heal. I've been off the pills for about three days now (3/20) and am doing fine. I will give the crutches to Bennie Lilly the area welfare manager so he can give them to someone that needs them in Haiti.
