We arrived in Santo Domingo, Tuesday February 2nd and arrived about an hour late due to a thunderstorm in Miami. We stood in line for a tourist visa that we didn't need and then through the entry point for the second time. My knee was sore and standing and walking was a pain so we were glad to finally exit customs with all our luggage and be greeted by the smiling faces of Bennie and Denise Lilly. A half-an-hour drive and we were at La Casa De Huespedes, the temple housing unit. We stayed in a patron room for a week prior to our apartment. The next next morning we took a walk around the temple grounds. It was beautiful! Blue sky, the Caribbean Sea in the distance and a warm breeze blowing the palm trees.
