FOOD SHIPMENT TO HAITI

This is a view of the area office from the dedication hill across the street. The offices are in the front building and the warehouses are in the back.

This load was filled with spaghetti, tomato sauce and beans. They often receive deliveries that are not palletized so everything is hand loaded and off-loaded. They palletize what they can at our warehouse for loading and delivery to Haiti.
We have a great crew that works at the warehouse and they put in the hours that is necessary to get the loads in and out on schedule. Sometimes the missionaries at the MTC or others give service hours by helping load trucks. The ward members also get an opportunity from time to time to help out.
This load was shipped out and got to the Haiti saints 12 hours later. Food commodities are distributed by bishop's order and the Relief Society president is key in writing all of those orders. The priesthood and Relief Society are functioning very well in Haiti and because of that the hand of the Lord can be received by those in need there.
